Maine American Idol star Julia Gagnon to perform at Maine Lobster Festival
ROCKLAND — “Julia Gagnon, a beloved Maine native and Cumberland resident, captivated the state and the nation during her impressive run on season 22 of the popular reality singing show, American Idol,” said Maine Lobster Festival, in a news release. “Rising to the top 7, Gagnon's powerful performances and genuine charm won the hearts and votes of fans nationwide.”
This summer, Gagnon is embarking on her "Here In Maine" tour, a heartfelt journey across her home state to express her gratitude to the Mainers who supported her throughout her American Idol journey. The tour will make a special stop at the Maine Lobster Festival on Sunday, Aug. 4, at 3 p.m., on the main stage. Festival-goers can enjoy this performance at no additional cost, as admission to both the Festival and the concert is free.
Performing under the artist name JULIA, Gagnon is joined by her fiancé, Nate. Together, they are set to debut a collection of new, original songs throughout the tour.
