There will be a Memorial Service for Lois C. Sprague, 85, wife of Earl D. Sprague formerly of Camden, Monday, June 28, 2021, at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church in Camden.

CAMDEN and ZEPHYRHILLS, Florida — Lois E. Sprague of Zephyrhills, Florida joined grandson Chris and other relatives in heaven on November 8, 2020.

She was born in Millinocket, Maine March 24, 1935 and raised in West Enfield, Maine by adopted parents Della and Chester Currie. She graduated from Howland High School in 1952 and from the University of Maine – Farmington in 1956. She taught in public schools for thirty years retiring from MSAD 28 Camden, Maine in 1988.

She was happily married to Earl D. Sprague for 61 years. She is survived by husband, Earl; son Eric and his wife Sydney and granddaughter Elizabeth of North Berwick, Maine; and son Jon and his wife Yayoi, and grandsons Darren and Patrick of Williamsburg, Virginia.

Lois was a lifelong devout Catholic and enjoyed being a member of the Catholic Women’s Club.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Good Hope, Camden, Maine to the scholarship fund of that organization.

Services will be held in June and will be announced.
