Lincolnville girls basketball wins home opener against Appleton

LINCOLNVILLE — In its home opener Friday, Dec. 6, the Lincolnville girls basketball team used a steady dose of pressure and a solid third quarter to pull away from an Appleton team that showed tremendous fight.

Lincolnville held quarterly advantages of 6-3, 16-7 and 32-12 en route to a 38-18 victory. 

With the win, Lincolnville improves to 2-1 on the season.

Scoring for the Lynx were Jaden Johnson (18 points), Roo Boetsch (10), Natalie Bolduc (four), Grace Moody (four) and Liana Talty (two).

Scoring for Appleton were Brenna Odone (eight points), Josie Pendleton (four), Izzy Debrosky (two) and Autumn Porter (two).
