PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida and ROCKLAND, Maine — Lillian T. Fish, 94, passed away peacefully, Friday, June 4, 2021 in her home at Discovery Village in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Born June 25, 1926 in Paris Hill, Maine to William R. and Avis (Strout) Tuttle, she was educated in local schools before attending Gates Business College in Augusta, the Rockland Business College in Rockland, and ultimately receiving her certification as an Accountant.

On November 20, 1965, she married Erland “Erkie” Fish in Camden and the two would eventually move to Palm Beach County, Florida. They would reside there for 7 years while Lillian worked as a comptroller for Florida
Chrysler, Plymouth and Roger Dean Chevrolet in West Palm Beach.

Returning to Midcoast Maine in 1972, Lillian and Erkie, with other partners, built and operated the Navigator Motor Inn in Rockland until 1974. That same year they established Bumble Bee Construction company, which
they owned and operated before selling that business in 1994.

Lillian loved the game of golf and was a long-time member of the Rockland Golf Club and the Women’s Golf Association. She also held memberships with the American Society of Women Accountants, the Rockland Emblem Club, was a charter member of the Winnie Doan Scholarship Association for Eastern Maine Technical College scholarships, and a member of the Union Congregational Church in West Palm Beach.

Lillian was predeceased by her parents, William and Avis; her husband, Erland (Erkie); her son, Ronald Gordon; her brothers, William, Charles and Roger Tuttle, and her sisters, Pauline Varney, and Helene McKeen; her grandson, LaForrest Wellman III; and her brother in-law, Vaikko McKeen.

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Hosack and her husband Fred of Palm Gardens Florida; her grandchildren, Christina Bryant, Mark Wellman; her great grandchildren, LaForrest Wellman IV, Brandon Wellman; her great, great, grandchildren, Corey Robbins, Kyle Arey, and Natalie Arey; her step-daughters Jan Fish and her husband Darrell, Jody Russell and her husband Nathan, Jaime Fish Connell, Jonne O’Farrell and her husband Rick; her step-granddaughter, Jacqueline Lipari and her husband Jacob; her step grandsons, Conner and Ryan O’Farrell; her step-great granddaughter, Lucy Lipari, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Lillian will be held Friday, July 30, 2021, at 2 p.m., at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland, Maine.
