ROCKLAND — Penobscot Bay Language School is kicking off the holiday season with a West African Cultural Dinner event on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, at 6 p.m. The dinner event will include authentic cuisine from the west African nation of Togo, and other regional influences. Guest Chef Jordan Benissan (of Me Lon Togo Rockland) will be preparing a 4 course meal, and lead a discussion about holiday traditions of West Africa.

“Penobscot Bay Language School has worked with Chef Benissan on numerous community projects over the years, and we are delighted to have him back to our school,” said PBLS, in a news release.
