    ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from May 22-26.

    Abagail Ames, 34, of Rockland, domestic violence assault in Washington June 26, 2022, dismissed; criminal mischief in Washington June 26, 2022, unconditional discharge; violating condition of release in Rockport Oct. 23, 2022, dismissed.

    Katrina Lynn Anderson, 40, of Union, domestic violence assault in Union Nov. 27, 2022, dismissed; criminal mischief in Union Nov. 27, 2022, dismissed; disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures in Union Nov. 27, 2022, unconditional discharge.

    Andrew Campbell Jr., 23, of Union, hunting without a valid license in Washington March 25, 2023, $80 fine.

    Christopher Chandler, 43, of Union, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, priors, in Rockland Dec. 17, 2019, 30 days in jail.

    Sadie L. Cowley, 36, of Portland, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Rockland Dec. 2, 2022, $700 fine.

    Erin L. Crosby, 43, of Sabattus, operating under the influence (alcohol), two priors, in Rockland Nov. 2, 2022, dismissed; operating under the influence (alcohol), one prior, in Rockland Nov. 2, 2022, $700 fine, 10 days in jail, license suspended three years.

    Charles Dodge, 40, of Rockland, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Rockland Sept. 23, 2022, restitution $83.18.

    Andre P. Elbreisus, 42, of Searsmont, gross sexual assault and tampering with witness, informant, juror, or victim, three years with all but nine months suspended, probation three years; unlawful sexual touching, three counts, in Rockland Nov. 6, 2022, six months in jail. (concurrent sentence)

    Elbreisus was a Knox County Jail Guard and convicted of sexual assaulting female inmates housed in the minimum-security section at the jail, according to the police affidavit filed by Rockland Police. Elbreisus put money into one of the victim’s inmate personal accounts, so she would not talk about the sexual contact, according to the state.

    Robert Gardner, 62, of Portland, possession of sexually explicit material of minors under 12 in Rockland Aug. 4, 2020, two counts, five years in jail with all but four months suspended, probation six years.

    Gabriel Grover, 31, of Waldoboro, assault in Rockland Aug. 29, 2022, $300 fine.

    Darrel E. Guptill, 62, of Spruce Head, operating under the influence (drugs or combination) in St. George Aug. 16, 2022, dismissed; aggravated driving to endanger in Thomaston Feb. 13, 2022, dismissed.

    Michael J. Hansen, 50, of Waldoboro, operating under the influence (alcohol), with two priors, in Rockland Aug. 27, 2022, $1100 fine, all suspended, 30 months in prison, license suspended six years, registration suspended; operating after habitual offender revocation, with two priors, in Rockland Aug. 27, 2022, $1000 fine, all suspended, nine months, one day in prison; driving to endanger in Rockland Aug. 27, 2022, $575 fine, all suspended, license suspended 30 days; violating condition of release in Rockland  Aug. 27, 2022, 30 days in jail.

    Cathie Harrington, 35, of Nobleboro, criminal trespass in Rockland Sept. 7, 2022, restitution $500.

    Rebecca A. Libby, 36, of Waldoboro, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Warren Aug. 22, 2022, restitution $72.82, unconditional discharge; violating condition of release in Warren Aug. 22, 2022, dismissed.

    Meryk Lowden, 35, of Rockland, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Rockland March 22, 2023, $500 fine, restitution $11.99.

    Eugene W. Neild, 48, of Bangor, aggravated assault in Warren Feb. 9, 2018, ten years in prison with all but seven years suspended, probation four years; aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs in Warren Dec. 14, 2017, $400 fine, 14 years in prison with all but seven years suspended, probation four years.

    Amanda J. Oakes, 33, of Rockland, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, with priors, in Thomaston Oct. 16, 2021, 60 days in jail all suspended, probation one year.

    Jacob A W Ortiz, 28, of Rockland, operating while license suspended or revoked in Thomaston March 11, 2023, dismissed.

    Teresa Parker, 56, of Union, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Appleton Sept. 25, 2022, $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.

    Monica Anthony Pinto, 33, of Vinalhaven, operating while license suspended or revoked in Rockland Aug. 23, 2020, dismissed.

    Sarah C. Rogers, 42, of Rockland, assault in Rockland Sept. 3, 2022, $750 fine.

    Lucas B. Ross, 26, of Rockland, robbery in Rockland Dec. 2, 2022, three years in prison; escape in Rockland Dec. 2, 2022, 90 days in jail; assault in Rockland Dec. 2, 2022, $300 fine, all suspended, 90 days in jail; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Rockland Dec. 2, 2022, 90 days in jail; disorderly conduct, offensive words, and gestures in Rockland Dec. 2, 2022, dismissed; aggravated criminal mischief in Rockland Nov. 19, 2022, dismissed; unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Rockland Nov. 19, 2022, $400 fine, 90 days in jail.

    Ross was convicted of a robbery at Shaws Supermarket in Rockland Dec. 2.

    According to the police affidavit filed in court by Rockland Police, they were dispatched to Shaws Dec. 2 around 11:35 a.m. for a disorderly complaint of a customer who was physically fighting with a store employee. When police arrived at the scene, they saw Ross running towards the store’s loading dock. He was located laying down in the bushes and was “highly intoxicated” with slurred speech.

    The Shaws employee who was assaulted told police that he usually works out of the Bangor store in asset protection but was called to Rockland because the store was having issues with Ross allegedly stealing several items daily from the store.

    On Dec. 2, the employee said that when he watched Ross on the store’s security video camera, he observed him concealing steaks and liquor. He followed the suspect outside and told him that he needed to pay for the items. Ross allegedly became confrontational and punched the employee in the face and tried to attack him several times, according to the court document.

    The value of the stolen items was $57.74.

    Donald W. Simmons Jr., 47, of Waldoboro, lobster fishing without a license in Friendship March 17, 2023, $100 fine; violation of groundfish rule, Chapter 34, two counts, $100 fine for each count.

    Byron E. Weatherbee, 45, of South Thomaston, criminal trespass in South Thomaston Sept. 1, 2022, dismissed; unlawful possession of scheduled drug in South Thomaston Sept. 1, 2022, dismissed.

    Hunter Wincapaw, 26, of Vassalboro, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Rockland Sept. 23, 2021, dismissed; driving to endanger in Rockland Sept. 23, 2021, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days.

    Joel D. Winchenbach, 39, of Waldoboro, driving to endanger in Washington April 13, 2020, $575 fine; failure to register vehicle in Washington April 13, 2020, $150 fine, all suspended.
