Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases

    ROCKLAND – The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from Oct. 24-Nov. 10.

    Charles J. Bill, 40, of Northport, aggravated assault in Warren July 27, 2021, 14 days in jail.

    Jeremy Dennison, 36, of Augusta, terrorizing, two counts, in Rockland June 1, 2021, continued for sentencing.

    Travis M. Doughty, 39, of Cushing, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Rockland, dismissed.

    Erica L. Dyer, 20, of Waldoboro, domestic violence assault in Cushing June 26, 2022, dismissed.

    Breana Elyse Little, 34, of Cushing, pleaded guilty to aggravated criminal operating under the influence and driving to endanger in a crash on Old County Road in Thomaston in October 2021. Little was driving a 2004 Ford van traveling southbound on Old County Road and crossed the road and into the path of a passenger car, operated by Ethan Merry, 23, of Searsmont, who sustained multiple injuries.

    The state and defense agreed to a deferred disposition agreement Nov. 4. The conditions of the agreement include that Little must refrain from all criminal conduct and violation of federal, state, and criminal laws, and perform 80 hours of community service. She was ordered to undergo a substance abuse evaluation and treatment and not use or possess alcohol or illegal drugs and be subject to random searches by police.

    An addendum to the deferred disposition agreement stated that the parties have agreed, with the approval of court, to hold a hearing on whether a condition requiring the payment of restitution shall be paid by Little to the victim, according to the court document.

    Caleb J. Meklin, 28, of Rockport, criminal attempt, two counts, and unsworn falsification in Rockland Nov. 6, 2021, 90 days in jail; operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, in Rockport Feb. 25, 2022, $500 fine, 90 days in jail; violating condition of release, and failure to stop, remain and provide information all in Rockport Feb. 25, 2022; operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, in Rockland May 15, 2022, $500 fine, 90 days in jail; violating condition of release in Rockland May 15, 2022, 90 days in jail; domestic violence aggravated assault in Rockport July 10, 2022, five years in jail with all but one year suspended, probation three years; unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Rockport July 10, 2022, $400 fine, 90 days in jail; violating condition of release in Rockport July 10, 2022, 90 days in jail; trafficking in prison contraband in Rockland July 11, 2022, six months in jail.

    Steven Russell, 42, of Searsmont, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident in Camden Aug. 8, 2021, $500 fine; failing to make oral or written accident report in Camden Aug. 8, 2021, $500 fine; driving to endanger in Camden Aug. 8, 2021, dismissed; attaching false plates in Camden Aug. 8, 2021, $250 fine.

    Thomas E. Sawyer, 24, of Warren, probation violation on a prior arson conviction in Warren April 6, 2018, nine months in jail, probation partially revoked, probation continued; assault in Rockport Feb. 25, 2022, dismissed; criminal mischief in Rockport Feb. 25, 2022, nine months in jail, restitution of $157; assault in Rockport Feb. 25, 2022, nine months in jail; criminal mischief in Warren Feb. 26, 2022, nine months in jail; criminal mischief in Warren Feb. 27, 2022, nine months in jail, restitution of $1,699.84.

    Kevin Warren Whitehill, 39, of Thomaston, unlawful possession of cocaine base in Rockland July 19, 2021, $400 fine, two years in jail with all but 90 days suspended, probation two years; operating while licensed suspended or revoked in Rockland July 19, 2021, $250 fine, all suspended.

    Zackary H. Woodbury, 41, of Rockland, domestic violence assault, with priors, in Thomaston Sept. 19, 2021, three years in jail all suspended, probation two years.
