John Robbins, obituary
BELFAST — John M. Robbins Sr., 73 passed away October 21, 2018 in Belfast with his loving family by his side. John was born on December 31, 1944 in Auburn, Maine to the late Wallace Reynolds and Clara Robbins and raised in Belfast by Clara and his step-father Horace Clements.
He was a truck driver for Maplewood, a heavy diesel mechanic for Dysarts and a lover of hunting and fishing. He was a well-versed boxer, trained by Bruce Copson.
John was predeceased by his parents; his sons, Danny Haskell, Howard Robbins and Michael Robbins and by the love of his life Paulie Boulter. Surviving are his daughter, Sharon Cash and her husband Brian; his son Johnny Robbins Jr.; Paulie’s children who he considered his own, Jo-Lene Harvey and her husband Melford and Barry Boulter and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday October 26, 2018 at Grove Cemetery in Belfast with Pastor Matthew Shaw officiating. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.ripostafh.com.
