WARREN – Jill A. Ross, 45, died unexpectedly, Thursday, August 16, 2018 at her home.  

Born in Rockport, December 13, 1972, she was the daughter of Melvin and Gloria Colpritt Davis.  Educated locally, she graduated from Georges Valley High School.  

Following high school, Jill worked off and on as a waitress for several local restaurants. Her greatest love was being on the water with her father serving as his stern-woman for several years.  

Jill married Chet Ross, of Owls Head, and together they had three children.  Jill took great pleasure in being a mom, taking her daughter to horseback riding and camping with her family.  After separating, Chet and Jill remained close, co-parenting their children. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.  

Predeceased by her mother in 2009 and her father in June of this year; Jill is survived by her children, Maggie Johnson, of Portland; Lucas Ross and his companion, Beverly Roman, of Rockland; and Lydia Ross, of Owls Head; the father of her children, Chet Ross, of Owls Head; her siblings, Tammy Willey and her companion, Stephen Adams; and Ronald ‘Ron’ Davis, Trevor Davis, all of Tenants Harbor, Tim Ward and his wife, Felicia of Augusta; her grandson Liam Ross of Rockland; her companion Richard Rytky, of Warren; as well as many friends, aunts, uncles, cousins and a large and loving extended family.  

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, August 23, 2018 at South Parish Cemetery (The Ridge), Martinsville.  Pastor Bill Hickey will officiate.
