Henry R. Kenney Jr., 79 of Waldo, died on May 29, 2020. 

A spreading of his cremated remains will be August 16, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a celebration of his life from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., at 124 Birches Rd. Waldo, ME.

Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home.

WALDO — Henry Kenney, 79, of Waldo, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2020.

He was born in Jackson, Maine on May 22, 1941 to Henry and Minnie (Whitcomb) Kenney Sr.

He loved to fish and hunt and was an avid gardener. He made sauerkraut along with his grandchildren. Henry was a loving husband and father.

Henry is survived by his loving wife, Sally Kenney of Waldo; his sister, Rosie Boynton of Belfast; daughter Patricia Dearborn of Saint Augustine, Florida; daughter Sandra Gibson of Belmont, Maine; son, Arthur Kenney and wife Robin of Waldo, Maine; and daughter Karen Kenney of Searsmont, Maine; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as many friends and extended family members who also called him Dad.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
