BELFAST — A Closer Look: Windows and Doors, a group show by the Mid-Coast Art Guild, will be on display in the Kramer Gallery of the Belfast Free Library for the month of April. The Mid-Coast Art Guild is a group of 14 artists that meet weekly to learn new techniques and develop their skills.

After having an interesting and challenging workshop on the subject last September, the group decided to spend the winter exploring intimate views of windows and doors. Reflections, supporting "surroundings" and the hint of a story behind the scenes all contributed to the collective focus on the subject. The resulting works were inspired by views seen around our community, in the state and from trips abroad.

The Kramer Gallery is located in the lobby of the Belfast Free Library and is open during library hours.
