Stockton Springs Community Library (SSCL) will host "The Great Event" on September 12, and space rentals for the Giant Yard Sale start now.

The event includes a giant yard sale, along with barbecue, bake sale, homemade donuts, children’s events, and more. "The Great Event" will happen rain or shine.

"The town of Stockton Springs will be filled with a festive atmosphere on Saturday, September 12, and everyone is invited to join in the celebration to be held on the grounds of the library and the Stockton Springs Town Office," said SSCL, in a news release.

Rental of space at the Giant Yard Sale has begun. Spaces are approximately 10’ x 15’. Cost $25 before July 15 after that $30. You bring your own table. 

To reserve your space you must fill out an application and pay in advance either by check or cash. Come to the library during open hours to pick up an application. Library hours are Monday 3:00 – 5:00 pm, Tuesday 3:00 – 6:00 pm, Wednesday 3:00 – 5:00 pm, Thursday 9:00 am – Noon and 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Friday 9-12 and Saturday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
