Every egg had a treasure. There were more than 200 children, and another 100 adults, moving fast along the grass and through the amphitheatre at Camden Public Harbor and Harbor Park April 19, scopping up the 3,000 eggs filled with candy and treasures that had been spread about and tucked away into nooks and crannies by the Easter Bunny and his helpful crew from Camden Fire and Rescue and North East Mobile Health Services.
Before galloping off to find the eggs, the children gathered outside the library to hear Miss Amy read a book about an Easter Egg Hunt. Then, they took off, and within 20 minutes all of the eggs had been scooped up.
