George ‘Brian’ Farrar, obituary

Fri, 09/23/2022 - 3:45pm

George "Brian" Farrar, age 48, sadly passed away unexpectedly on September 12 after battling with depression for years.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jessica (Green) Farrar; his three most prized accomplishments, his children, George "Aidan" Farrar, Aislinn (Farrar) Dean, and Jesse Aniston Farrar; his very loved son-in-law, Daniel Dean; and his adored grandson, Trenton Dean.

Brian was also survived by his parents, George "Dale" and Elly Farrar, and Belinda and Paul Ricker; his sisters, Lynn Roberts and Danielle Pollard; his brothers, Trevor Pollard and Travis Haber; his grandmother, Natalie Farrar; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, step-family and in-laws.

Brian was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado but grew up in the Morrill and Belfast area. A few years after graduating from Belfast Area H.S., he married his wife, started their family and found himself drawn into the heating world, where he obtained all of his L.P. licenses and then his Masters License in oil.

In 2009, Brian and his family started ME Water Buffalo Co.in Appleton where he had found a passion for water buffalo and sharing his contagious passion with others. His place in this world will surely be missed. He was an incredible craftsman and buffalo farmer, creative in all that he touched, a jokester, a hard worker but more importantly, Brian loved being a husband, dad and grumpa.

A celebration of Brian's life will be held outside at his farm in Appleton for family and friends on Saturday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m., followed by a potluck visiting time.
