Genealogic discussion about 'ghosted' ancestors at Belfast library
Join the Belfast Free Library and the Wawenoc Chapter of the Maine Genealogical Society on Wednesday, June 18, at 2 p.m., in the Abbott Room of the Belfast Free Library, for a discussion led by genealogist Jane Haskell called “Ghosted: Let's Talk about Genealogic Vanishing.”
"All genealogists have them—ancestors who seemingly vanish all of a sudden, sometimes with no mention, sometimes with an explanation that feels inadequate, as if they have just 'ghosted' us," said a news release. "Join us for a conversation about our 'ghosted' ancestors."
This event is free and open to the public. It is an in-person event, with a Zoom option available. Please email spietryka@belfastlibrary.org to request the link.
