ROCKLAND — The world lost a beautiful ray of light on Saturday, June 13, 2020, when Freedom Leigh Hamlin, 39, left this world all too soon.

Freedom left behind her best-friend and mother, Heidi Stevens and her husband David Hooper of Rockland; her dearest father, David Hamlin and his wife Cindi of South Thomaston; her children, who were her whole world, Alexandra Bunker, Xavier Luce and Lux Luce; her siblings, Cassie Burrows, Zeke Hamlin and Taylor Hamlin; her aunts and uncles, Tony Hooper, Wayne Hooper, Theresa Green, Danny Stevens, Norah Townsend, Tommy Townsend, Jim Stevens, Leanne Hooper and Jason Hooper; her grandparents, Ruth Stevens and Roy Peasley and Ruel and Linda Hooper.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Margie and Lawrence Hamlin.

Freedom’s family has chosen to remember her life privately.
