Franklin E. Larry, obituary
BELMONT — Franklin E. Larry, 85, passed away April 22, 2019 at home in Belmont with his family by his side. He was born November 4, 1933 in Atkinson, Maine.
Frank worked most of his life as a truck driver and then as the boiler operator at Robbins Lumber. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and you could often hear Frank say he was born with a fishing pole in his hand.
Many good times were had with his children and their families which were the highlight of his life.
He is predeceased by his mother and father, Franklin P. Larry and Isabel E. (Badger) Larry of Guilford; his wife of 45 years, Irma M. (Turner) Larry; and his daughter Cynthia L. (Larry) Cook of Searsmont; his brothers Phillip P. Larry, Frederick J. Larry and Reginald Larry.
Frank is survived by his children, Audrey K. (Turner) Cookson and husband Jerry, Robert E. Larry and wife Sheila (Murphy) Larry, and Priscilla M. (Larry) Cunningham and husband Bryan.
He had six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and good friend and companion, Rose Tibbetts.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday April 27, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave, Belfast, where a funeral service will follow on Sunday April 28, at 2 p.m.
