ROCKPORT — The RES Community Park will be the site of Food Truck Friday, July 26, 2024, from 5 to 8 p.m., at 40 West Street, Rockport, Maine 04856.

“Presented by the RES Community Park Programming Committee in partnership with the Penobscot Bay YMCA, this evening promises delicious food, live music, and activities for the whole family,” said the Committee, in a news release.

Food Trucks

-Portable Pie Place: Offering a variety of savory and sweet hand pies crafted with wholesome, local ingredients.
-Shift Woodfired Pizza: Serving gourmet woodfired pizzas with locally sourced toppings.

Live Music

-Eenor’s Sonic Wallpaper: A solo one-man band delivering a captivating blend of worldly music styles, creating an immersive auditory experience that has mesmerized audiences. 
-Anna Jones: whose enchanting voice and poetic set of original and cover songs features dreamy acoustic folk guitar and story-telling elements, has quickly become a local favorite.

Family-Friendly Activities

-Penobscot Bay YMCA: Our partners at the Y will provide a range of family-friendly activities for kids and adults alike.

“Bring your friends and family to the RES Community Park and enjoy an evening of fantastic food, great music, and fun activities,” said the Committee. “Don’t forget to bring your picnic blankets and chairs to make the most of this summer event.”

About the RES Community Park: The Lesher Family Foundation is joining forces with the Town of Rockport to turn the old Rockport Elementary School (RES) grounds into a welcoming park for everyone.
