ROCKPORT — Five Town CSD Adult and Community Education began offering its first workforce certificate training classes in fall 2018.

Three students successfully completed the Clinical Medical Assistant Program in May and went immediately into new employment based on their training.

Students Franzeska Cavanaugh, Haley Harshaw and Lydia Hill were recognized for their accomplishment at Five Town’s adult ed graduation on May 23, along with eight graduates of Five Town’s HiSET high school equivalency diploma program.

A new cohort for Workforce Certificate Training classes is now forming for fall 2019, for more information call 236-7800, option 5, but note that staff are not in the office every day during summer.
