As the days get shorter and cooler we know that fall is here and inevitably winter will follow. Though that means cold and snow, it also means the holidays. Start off the season right with the Festival of Lights Craft Show, hosted by the Pope Memorial Humane Society.
2015 marks this Midcoast tradition's 36th year. More than 40 artists from all over Maine will showcase one-of-a-kind items such as ornaments, jewelry, pottery, candles, clothing, pet accessories and so much more. While finding something for everyone on your list, you can feel good about supporting homeless animals this holiday season.
The show takes place on Saturday, Nov. 28 at the Rockland Elks Lodge (210 Rankin St. in Rockland) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $2 and children under 12 are free.
