Doxie moxie on display in Grand Parade at Wienerfest

BELFAST — The sixteenth annual Wienerfest took place on the waterfront Sunday, Sept. 8, drawing dachshunds from all over the country, and international visitors.
This year’s parade was bigger than ever before, with the procession of canines taking nearly 10 minutes to pass.
Part of the annual festival, dedicated to the diminutive dogs, included a Grand Parade, where the many doxies present strut their stuff on the walkway near Belfast’s Boathouse, along with their proud humans.
The event also featured a costume contest where dressed-up dachshunds vied for the title of best-dressed dog.
