BELFAST — Dorothy E. (Parker) Lockhart, 62, died unexpectedly March 29, 2020, in Frankfort. She was born November 22, 1957 in Bangor, the daughter of Alvin G. Parker and Florence (Smith) Drew.

Dorothy graduated from Searsport High School, in Searsport, in 1976 and worked as a seamstress for many years. Dorothy married her high school sweetheart, John Lockhart, on June 30, 1978. They celebrated 41 years of marriage in June 2019.

Dorothy was predeceased by her son, Dale; her father, Alvin; and her brother, Tony.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, John, of Belfast; mother, Florence (to whom she was very devoted) also of Belfast; daughter, Jennifer and her companion Fred of Thorndike; brother, Roy and his wife Ronda of Frankfort.

She was the loving grandmother of Sage Lockhart of Belfast, Austin Grotton of Thorndike, and Kaleb Lockhart of Mesa, Arizona. Dorothy was loved and will be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dorothy will also be greatly missed by her dear friends Earlene Gallant of Islesboro, and Destiney Rea Pinkham (her adopted granddaughter) of Belfast, and too many more to list.

At Dorothy`s request she will be laid to rest at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Prospect, Maine. The service will be private and at a date to be determined later.
