Denise R. Senay, obituary
CUSHING — Denise R. Senay, 62, died peacefully, with her loving family at her side, Sunday, October 5, 2025 at the Sussman Hospice House in Rockport.
Born in Rockport, October 26, 1962, she was the daughter of Dennis Young, Sr. and Helen Parnel Young. Educated locally, she was a graduate of Georges Valley High School.
Denise had a caring heart that led her to the healthcare field. For many years she worked as a private caregiver for several local families. She was also employed as a housekeeper at the Samoset Resort for a time.
Later, after the birth of her son, Ethan, Denise left the workforce and began the full-time job of raising him. As a young woman, Denise loved to be on the ocean, fishing, and taking boat rides and family trips to Stone Island with her father and grandfather.
Later in life she enjoyed time drawing and reading. She always had a special place in her heart for animals, owning several cats and dogs over the years. Keeping in touch with friends and family over the phone was another favorite pastime.
She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
Predeceased by her mother, Helen Robinson and stepfather, Terry Robinson, Sr.; her father, Dennis Young, Sr. and her stepmother, Janice Young; a brother, Dennis Young, Jr.; and a step-sister, Nancy; Denise is survived by her son, Ethan Senay; her grandson Brantley Hall, both of Cushing; a brother, Terry Robinosn, Jr. of Warren; her step-siblings and their families, Sandra, Barbara and Ron; her niece, Michelle Young and her boyfriend Aaron Heal; her nephews, Neal Young and his wife MacKenzie, and Steven Young and his wife Amy; as well as great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many loving extended family members.
