Cushing resident Susan Gibbs will talk about the SS United States, Wednesday, July 15, at 7 p.m.

 

Gibbs is the granddaughter of the designer of the SS United States, the fastest ocean liner to ever cross the Atlantic, according to the Cushing Historical Society, in a news release. 

 

Gibbs has appeared on NPR, NBC, CNN to talk about this legendary ship "and the Cushing Historical Society is thrilled to host her," said CHS.
