Come Spring Tea to highlight recipes from 1800s, period attire
UNION — Union Historical Society is having a "Come Spring" Tea, Thursday, March 21, from 3 to 6 p.m., at the Robbin House on Union Common.
Staff members will be dressed in period attire, serving baked goods from recipes found in the collection of early Union resident Lena Grinnell.
The Society is in the process of creating a cookbook from these 1800s recipes, and will have "proofs" of some of the cookbook pages on display.
This is a free event, but donations accepted.
Snow date March 28.
