WALDOBORO — Back by popular demand- Santa paintings with a twist by Chris Augusta are on view this month at the Waldoboro Public Library. With his respects to famous artists Andrew Wyeth, George Bellows, Winslow Homer, Edward Hopper, Henri Rousseau, Paul Gaugin and Edgar Degas, the Waldoboro artist playfully and skillfully features Santa in their well-known works.

Augusta's paintings also are printed on Christmas cards that may be purchased at the library; individual cards for $3 or packages of eight cards for $15, with .50 and $3 of each sale, respectively, given to the library.
