Catherine Frances Dawson, 71, wife of the late David Alan Dawson, passed away April 7, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Belfast, Maine, on June 17, 1948, to Leonard Walter Harvey and Evelyn Anne O’Brien.

She graduated from Belfast Area High and later furthered her education at KVTC. She was an experienced and talented seamstress working in the clothing industry and shoe manufacturing until retirement. She enjoyed painting, bird watching and gardening.

In addition to her parents and husband, Catherine was predeceased by her brother, Leonard Walter Harvey Jr.; and her son, Gregory Matthew Aldus.  

She is survived by four children, Raymond Aldus Jr. and wife Kristin of Belfast, Joseph Aldus of Brooks, Francine Fuller of Owls Head, Jason Fuller and his wife Patricia of Searsmont; her nephew Leonard Harvey III of Waldo; eight grandchildren: Kallie, Kote, Abraham, Matthew, Jacob, Cade, Aaron and Sarah; four great-grandchildren; and her friends Glenn Fuller, Bonnie Reed, Lauretta and David Kulp.

A Celebration of Life will be held this summer at Grove Cemetery, Belfast.
