Car strikes house in Warren
WARREN — A car struck a house in Monday, April 10 in a crash that appears to be alcohol related, according to a news release from Knox County Office Chief Deputy Tim Carroll.
Office Deputy Scott Redmun responded to the crash on Western Road in Warren at approximately 4:20 p.m. The report came into Knox County Regional Communications Center as a car had hit a house.
Redmun arrived on the scene and spoke with the single occupant and operator of the vehicle, Bridget Artibani, 32, of Warren. Artibani, who was driving a 2009 Ford sedan, stated she believed that she lost the power steering in her car that caused her to go off the road and strike the house.
Artibani sustained minor injuries to her face and was transported to Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport. Warren Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene.
No one in the house was injured, said Carroll in the news release.
