Camden Public Library to begin limited opening, announces June programming

    Beginning June 8, the Camden Public Library will have a "limited opening" to the public. The first floor will be open to limited numbers of visitors from 1 to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, at the Atlantic Avenue entrance.

    The library will continue to offer curbside pick-up of book orders from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. See website librarycamden.org for more information.

    Tuesday, June 16, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Online Premiere of “A Story of Two People and One Vision.” The 12-minute narrated slideshow will premiere in a live-stream on the Camden Public Library’s Facebook page and YouTube channel at 6:00 pm. The presentation focuses on the contribution and vision of Camden’s greatest benefactor, Mary Louise Curtis Bok, and landscape architect Fletcher Steele, who Bok commissioned to work on the Camden Amphitheatre. The 12-minute slideshow lays out the fascinating history of the National Historic Landmark and will be followed by a conversation on Zoom at 6:30 with Parks Director David Jackson and Library Trustee Amy Rollins.
