Camden Hills girls, Medomak Valley boys soccer teams enter playoffs without losses

ROCKPORT and WALDOBORO — Two local teams are entering the high school soccer playoffs without suffering a loss during the regular season. 

On the girls side, the top-seeded Camden Hills soccer team ran through a Class A schedule that resulted in a perfect 14-0 season as the nationally-ranked squad seeks its fourth consecutive state championship. 

On the boys side, the second-seeded Medomak Valley soccer team collected a dozen victories in Class B and a pair of ties to enter the playoffs with a 12-0-2 record. 

Both teams have earned byes in their respective preliminary rounds with Camden Hills set to host eighth seeded Lewiston or ninth-seeded Brewer and Medomak Valley to host either seventh-seeded York or 10th-seeded Lincoln Academy in the regional quarterfinals.
