Boys Soccer: Bangor 1, Camden Hills 0

On the road in Bangor, the Camden Hills varsity boys soccer team fell 1-0 to Bangor.

Bangor’s Jacob Bourassa broke a scoreless tie with seven minutes remaining in the game when he placed a well struck free kick into the lower right hand corner of the goal.

Bangor held and edge in shots (13-2) and corners (5-1).

Matt Kremin turned in a solid effort in the Windjammer goal turning aside six Bangor shots. Austin Conway made two saves for the Rams in net.

"I was really pleased with our effort tonight,” said Camden Hills head coach Ryan Hurley. “The boys played the way we wanted to play for 90% of the game. Bangor is a quality team and one of their best players made a play to change the game. I'm confident we will learn from this and grow. The season is young and we are gaining experience and confidence each time out. We have a few days to recover and get ready for a very good Hampden team on Saturday."

Girls Soccer: Camden Hills 6, Bangor 4

Collecting goals for the Windjammers were Kristina Kelly (three), Kassie Krul, Eliza Roy and Kaylyn Krul.
