ROCKPORT – The Ashwood Waldorf School on Park Street in Rockport issued the following statement July 9:

“Ashwood Waldorf School experienced a break-in on the night of July 5, during which both the grades and early childhood buildings were vandalized.

“While much of what occurred involved juvenile pranks, there was also writing in classrooms that included hate speech. A report was filed with the Rockport Police Department. 

“Located on 32 acres in West Rockport, Ashwood values the safety of our community and students. We would like neighbors to be aware and to please report any information to the local police.”
