'The Boat Show' exhibit begins Arts in the Barn 2025 season
Arts In The Barn/ Cushing Historical Society is starting summer off with a community exhibit called “The Boat Show” June 27 through 29, 2025.
This show is non-juried and will feature various fine art and crafts media all based on the theme of boats, which includes models, jewelry, photography, painting and more. This event will provide an opportunity to meet the artists, discuss their works, and enjoy light refreshments in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, according to Arts in the Barn, in a news release.
Opening Reception is Friday, June 27, from 5 - 7 p.m., refreshments are served. Arts In The Barn is located at 17 Hathorne Point Road in Cushing.
The exhibition will be open to the public on Saturday, June 28, and Sunday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to take their time exploring the diverse range of artworks and immerse themselves in the maritime theme.
The Arts In The Barn program is under the 501c3 statute for the Cushing Historical Society, and these programs benefit the Historical Society’s aims. We are a community supportive organization and have talks and presentations about the history, cultural heritage and persons of interest in our midcoast area.
