BELMONT — The Belmont, Maine Backyard Reunion is celebrating its 25th year of family reunions.

This year’s reunion is held on the second Saturday in August, in this case August 10, in the backyard of Bob and Isabel Maresh, on the Howard Road, in Belmont.

Invitations are being sent to the descendants of Boynton/ Boyington, Clark, Dean, Hannan/Hannon, Heal/Heald, Jackson, Lermond, Levenseller, Maresh, Marringer, Morse, descendants of Patrick O’Neil of western Massachusetts, Young, Friends, neighbors and relatives.

Bring food for the pot-luck lunch. If coming from away consider ice, bottled water, chips, etc. The basics are provided.

Bring an inexpensive item for the fun auction to help pay for portable toilet and incidentals.

Bring family history to be shared, pictures to copy, etc. Feel free to come early to help with set up.
