Belfast Senior College summer 2025 offers eight courses with no age or membership requirements
Belfast Senior College announces its summer offering of eight low-cost courses that are open to all, with no age or membership requirements. Classes will take place from mid-July 5 to mid-August in various Belfast venues. The course fees vary, from free to $30. Registration opens on June 10 at belfastseniorcollege.org
“We like to make our summer courses as accessible as possible, said Senior College president Mayo Bulloch, in a news release. "While Senior College is typically for those ages fifty and over, these summer courses are for everyone, regardless of age. In addition, our usual membership fee of $25 is not charged. We hope many will take advantage of this opportunity to feed their curiosities and have fun exploring the new."
Class offerings include four courses that meet for one session only: Dear Stephen: An Autographic Journey Through the 20th Century, A Day with Monarchs, Who Needs a Beach for a Good Summer Read? and Hiking YOUR way in UK and Ireland. The remaining four courses vary in length from two to three sessions; these include Journeying Through the Tarot, Mindfulness Meditation with a Breath of Zen, Three Films from our Northern Friends, and Through Time and Place, A Close-up of Maine History.
