Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition hosts November walks in Belfast
Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition is hosting two walks in Belfast this November.
Walk Belfast’s In-Town Nature Trail
On Saturday, November 2, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., join the Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition for a walk on a section of the In-Town Nature Trail in Belfast.
Meet at 10 a.m., at the Belfast Boathouse parking, for a 2-hour walk of part of the trail. The group will have lunch together at Must Be Nice, the seafood restaurant supplied and owned by lobster fisher Sadie Samuels. Or skip the walk and meet up with the group at noon for lunch.
Geology Walk on the Belfast Rail Trail
On Saturday, November 16, from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., join the Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition for a walk. Geologist Chris Mattson will take the group on a geology walk of the Belfast Rail Trail, followed by a bag lunch (BYO) with Q&A at the rail trail picnic site. ADA accessible.
Meet at the City Point Train Station at 10 a.m. The group will walk with Mattson for a couple of hours, have lunch, and learn more.
