SEARSMONT — Barbara M. Ratten, 90, of Searsmont, passed away peacefully June 5, 2015, at Crawford Commons in Union, where she lived for the last six years.

Barbara lived a long, happy life. She was born in Canton, Ohio, and moved to Maine after she met and married the love of her life, Lloyd Basil Ratten.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, crocheting, and taking care of and spending time with family.

She is survived by her three children, Barbara and her husband, Stan, and Jean and Lloyd; her grandchildren, Karen, Renee and her husband, Josh, Haley and her husband, Derek, Silas and his wife, Caitlyn, and Susie; and her great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Chassidy, Jasmine, Charlotte, Ellery and Caleb.

At her request no services will be held.
