SEARSPORT — Annie and the Rain Makers will perform at a Free Street Party, Friday, May 31, from 5 - 7 p.m., at Mermaid Plaza, 1 East Main St, Searsport. The party will include live music, food trucks and more.

“Come on over with some friends to a weekend kickoff dance with Annie and the Rainmakers outdoors at the Mermaid Plaza,” said Steven Tanguay, in a news release. “Music free to all. Come see all the improvements being made downtown and stay to dance at a local club.”

Food offerings include: Papa’s Smokehouse Food truck, Splendiferous Sweet Shoppe, BSB Hot Popcorn.

Parking at Mermaid avoids all detours to the South, according to Tanguay.

“Come support the downtown of Searsport as we are coming out of the other end of the revitalization project,” he said. “You are appreciated.”

Street Party is sponsored by HOBBA, The Maker’s Guild of Maine, Bangor Savings Bank.

Vendors are welcome to attend free of charge.
