CAMDEN — "A much loved holiday tradition is forging ahead to bring good tidings to the Camden area during the first full weekend in December, as the Camden Area Business Group presents Christmas by the Sea," said organizers in a news release.

The 38th annual Christmas by the Sea weekend, scheduled for December 6-8, 2024, will include the traditional holiday parade through downtown Camden on Friday evening, tree-lightings, holiday music and other performances, visits with Santa Claus from the North Pole, story time with Santa and his elf, cookie decorating, and other fun surprises.

"Many of the beloved events happen as a result of the incredible community participation that is at the very heart of Christmas by the Sea," said the release. "If you and/or an organization or business that you are connected with is planning an event or a parade float, now is the time to let the planning committee know."

Those wishing to participate in the Christmas by the Sea parade should contact Holly Anderson at handerson@camdensnowbowl.com to receive a participation form. Deadline for parade float entries is December 2, 2024.
