UNION — The Union Fair / Maine’s Wild Blueberry Festival is seeking young ladies to apply for the 2024 Maine Wild Blueberry Queen Competition. This years Coronation Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, starting at 6:30 p.m., on the Camden National Bank Stage at the Union Fairgrounds.

The Trustees of the Union Fair announce that two more age categories, Little Miss and Miss Teen, have been added to the Maine Wild Blueberry Queen Competition.

Maine Wild Blueberry Queen Category Qualifications: - Queen $1750 cash prize; Crown Princess $750 cash prize

 Maine Resident
 17-25 years of age
 Young Female
 Single or married
 At least one sponsorship by Maine Wild Blueberry Grower or processor
 Will not compete for another title by application closing
 Must be available periodically during week of Union Fair
 Attend events during year or reign

Teen Miss Maine Wild Blueberry Princess - $250 cash prize

 Maine resident 
 13-16 years of age
 Young Female
 will not compete for another title by application closing 
 Must be available periodically during week of Union Fair 
 Parent must chaperone candidate at all times during Union Fair week and throughout the year of reign

Little Miss Maine Wild Blueberry Princess - $150 cash prize

 Maine resident 
 8-12 years of age 
 Young Female   
 will not compete for another title by application closing 
 Must be available periodically during week of Union Fair 
 Parent must chaperone candidate at all times during Union Fair week and throughout the year of reign

The four winners will also receive a crown, and a sash.

The application deadline is June 10, 2024.
