UNION — Although the Union Founders Day has been cancelled the last two years due to Covid, the Common Market and Union Masonic Lodge 31 continued the Founders Day chicken barbeque tradition.
Over the past 2 years the Common Market and Union Masons have raised and donated, from these chicken barbeques, $5,500 to the Come Spring Food Pantry.
The pantry, from their new location at 27 Common Road, serves the Towns of Union, Appleton, Washington, Searsmont, Warren, Hope and South Hope.
Their motto is “No one turned away!”
