Pick It Up
I’m super excited to announce I’ll be on the news! I was interviewed yesterday by Hannah, a reporter with WLBZ2 News Center about my Zero Waste/Plastic Free Journey. I had to do a big kitchen clean only to realize it still looked untidy. I also realized how imperfect I am and that’s OK. Hannah asked about tips to get started and I said “Pick up trash”. Pick it up today, tomorrow and everyday you can get outside. It’s good for you and good for the environment.
Usually I pick up single use plastic- drink and food containers. The other day it was this huge orange thing. I was afraid it would be heavy but it was light and now far away from the ocean where it won’t break down into little pieces and be mistaken for food by hungry sea critters.
It’s easy, clean fun!
