BELFAST — Breezy, warm, sunny skies provided the setting for the last horse show of the season at the Waldo County Riding & Driving Club in Belfast on Sunday, Aug. 20.

Cheryl Anderson announced the placings of judge Sherri Thornton. Riders and horses came from twenty five towns across Maine to compete. 

Prior to the show, the behind the scenes folks made sure the ring was prepared: Jeremy Ward, Katrina Madore, Josh Redrick, Twyler and Max Webster. Richard Winchester took care of the water tank for every show. Sunday’s helpers were Dan and Janelle Dishner on gates; Mary Wheelden and Ralph Jewell awards and gates; Sandy Martz and Bee Grinnell 50/50 raffle sales; Mr. Elwell gates and clean up; Avis Winchester and Cheryl Anderson registrations, announcing, and clean up.

The 50/50 raffle of $68 was won by Gladys Flewelling. Chef On The Run food truck provided the delicious food and beverages for the day.
