    The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity May 5-11. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    April 25 (late entry)

    Maria L. Raven, 25, of Thorndike, was issued summonses for driving to endanger, failure to give notice of a property damage accident by quickest means, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and operating after suspension on Mile Street in Thorndike.

    May 5

    Justin Hardesty, 32, of Palermo, was arrested for violating conditions of release on Nelson Lane in Palermo.

    Corporal Darrin Moody responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident on Hunter Road in Unity. The operator of a 2012 Nissan failed to stop at a stop sign, instead traveling across Hunter Road and into a ditch. The driver was uninjured and the vehicle sustained minor damage to the front end.

    May 6

    Zachary Lunt, 19, of Belmont, was issued summonses for operating without a license and attaching false plates on Howard Road in Belmont.

    May 7

    Adam J. Carson, 28, of Unity, was issued a summons for criminal trespass on Bangor Road in Unity.

    May 10

    Joshua M. Lester, 27, of Burnham, was arrested for violation of a protective order and violating conditions of release.
