ROCKLAND – Retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Patricia Wakefield, 87, professor of physical therapy, formerly of Tenants Harbor, died Nov. 11, 2016, at Knox Center for Long Term Care.

Private burial will be at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pope Memorial Humane Society of Knox County, P.O. Box 1294, Rockland, ME 04841.
