Amy Pinkham, 34, has been charged with domestic assault and violating conditions of relase.
Law enforcement received the report at 4 p.m., after the complainant called Waldo County Dispatch to report the assault.
Deputy Darrin Moody responded to the call and learned during the course of investigation that Pinkham is currently under bail conditions related to a prior domestic incident, according to a press release.
The complainant reportedly told Moody that he had been in a verbal altercation with Pinkham when she struck and scratched him. Moody was also able to observe wounds on the victim that were consistent with his statements.
Pinkham was arrested and transported to Waldo County Correctional Center where she was later released on $500 cash bail.
