OAKLAND — The Rockland District Middle School Lego Robotics Team, the Rockland RoboGeeks, earned gold standard ribbons in each event it entered during the Lego Robotics track meet, Saturday, May 7, in Oakland. The team won the meet and received the first place trophy for overall points.

Rockland RoboGeeks also accumulated the following trophies: first place Slope Climber, first place Robot Speed Build, first place Bridge, second place Walking Robot and second place Bridge.

Team members include John Comeau, Erin Maire Corcoran, Logan Radley, Spencer Dorr, Corbin Farnham, Aidan Weymouth, Anna Siletti and Emmett Dorr. 

This is one of only three meets that take place in the state of Maine each year, according to a news release.
