ROCKLAND — Dorothy M. Robinson, 94, died Dec. 25, 2015, with her daughter at her side, at the Sussman House in Rockport.

Born in Riverside, R.I., on March 10, 1921, she was the daughter of Jacob and Emma Nolan Landry. She devoted her life to her daughter.

On March 20, 1980, she married Charles P. Robinson. He died in 1996.

While Dorothy spent most of her life in Rhode Island, after moving to Maine, she lived several years at the Rankin Center in Rockland. She later lived at Merry Gardens in Camden and then Knox Center for Long Term Care.

She enjoyed reading, music, playing cards and her home.

She is survived by her daughter, Rose M. Chace of Appleton; three grandchildren, Sandra Livingston of Ohio, Suzanne Thibeault of Madawaska, and Richard Chace, II and his wife, Evelyn, of Phoenix, Ariz.; and four great-grandchildren, U.S. Air Force Capt. Sean Livingston and his wife, Stephanie, of Oklahoma City, Okla., Brett Livingston and his fiancée, Shelby, of Ohio, Richard Chace III of Phoenix, Ariz., and Hannah Thibeault of Madawaska.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Private services are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home. Interment was in LaSalle Cemetery in Searsmont.
