Edna Earl, obituary
ROCKLAND — Edna F. Earl, 87, died peacefully December 17, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, at the Sussman House in Rockport.
Born in Lincolnville on Dec. 13, 1928, she was the daughter of Ralph and Fannie Wiley. She was educated in Lincolnville Schools.
A hard worker her entire life, Edna spent the beginning part of her career as a waitress and cook at many local restaurants. She was well known at the Willow Street Donut Shop. Most recently Edna was employed at the Courier Gazette in Rockland in the production department.
She was a talented crafter, making many beautiful crocheted and cross-stitched creations.
She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
Predeceased by her daughter, Lynn Stanley, Edna is survived by her children, Cheryl Mancini and her husband, Raymond, of Yuba City, Calif., Richard Earl and his wife, Kathy, of Shelton, Wash., and Elaine Carter and her husband, Mark, of Rockland; a son-in-law, Bruce Stanley of Spruce Head; her grandchildren, Michelle Pearl and her husband, Tim, of Longmont, Colo., Michael Earl and his wife, Anna, of Eagle, Colo., Ashlee Reynolds and her husband, Travis, of Spruce Head, and Daniel Carter of Rockland; her great-grandchildren, Owen and Rose Reynolds, Layla Carter, and Marek and Grace Pearl; her sisters-in-law, with whom she was very close, Gloria, Christine and Katie Wiley, all of Camden; as well as many nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
At Edna's request, her family will be remembering her life privately.
