Darrell ‘DC’ Clapper, obituary
BANGOR — Darrell Eugene "DC" Clapper II, 29, of Bangor, passed away unexpectedly Dec. 10, 2015. He was born Dec. 12, 1985, in Belfast.
DC, as he was fondly called, enjoyed outdoor activities, especially ice fishing with his father. He also loved spending what time he could with his three children.
He is survived by his mother, Janet Ely of Belfast; his father, Darrell Clapper Sr. of Belfast; three children, Issac, Mia and Lilly; his siblings, Juanita Peavey of Searsport, Rachel Bibber of Lakeville, Mass., and Jonathan Hayslip of Northport; his paternal grandmother, Betty Dowdy of Belfast; his foster grandmother, Mary Hunter of Bangor; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held Thursday Dec. 17 from 3 to 5 p.m. with a time of sharing at 4 p.m. at Riposta Funeral Home in Belfast. Interment will be held privately in the spring of 2016.
